Student Portfolio System is a multimedia Journal for Students where they document all their learnings and keep track of their progress at school. This journal then gets converted into a customized digital view that is organized and can be accessed by teachers to keep track of their growth. Parents also get customized notifications via email, SMS, and push notifications regarding their student’s learnings and progress regularly. Every student’s journal is stored online on the cloud server which contains multiple components like photos, videos, learning artifacts, voice recordings, drawings, and much more.Â
Our team of experts worked on building the complete software from start to end which spanned almost 3 years.Â
Initially, this client came with a requirement which demanded a POC for testing the concept and viability of the project. Once that was achieved, we worked on adding more modules and functionalities to make this into a full-fledged journaling application. We took care of the full software development cycle and created both the web and mobile app versions of this product.Â
The client is from Saudi Arabia and owns a chain of schools. He wanted to bring digitization to these schools and create an ecosystem where students, teachers, and parents are interconnected to fuel the growth of children. Earlier our client didn’t have many digital assets that they could deploy in their schools to take learning and education to the next level.Â
Hence, that’s when they decided to build a customized learning and journaling platform that would keep all student activities in one single centralized place and would allow teachers and parents to be a part of their student’s learning journey. Our client wanted to create an education software that would be affordable and could be adopted by the masses.
