The Prescription Management Application allows prescribers/practitioners to update pharmacy prescriptions for patients in real time rather than having a static prescription. The patient data is directly shared with physicians through relevant and appropriate channels which then reflects in the patient’s medicine recommendations done by the doctor. This software makes the point of prescribing medicine more efficient and reduces friction between the doctors and patients due to access to real time patient data updates.Â
As a result, it makes recommending medications and patient specific drugs easier, reduces costs, improves communication between pharmacies and physicians and ensures the prescriptions are clean and compliant fully as per the needs of the patient.
Our client developed the Web application for this project which spanned for 10 months. We first started with refining the client idea, roadmapping the modules, creating the UI/UX which took approximately 3 months, and the rest of the 7 months were spent on building the end to end web application with complete testing and quality assurance, followed by product launch. Our team consisted of a business analyst, web designer, full stack dot net developer, and software tester. Together they ensured that the project came out as per client expectations.Â
Our client has worked for 20+ years in corporate in the healthcare sector in the UK and wanted to start his own venture with his other business partners. Together, our client side wanted to build a web application for hospitals and pharmacies which ensured that patient prescriptions had medicine recommendations updated in real time rather than relying on static prescription documents. The client then encountered ChromeInfotech and our team helped them refine their idea through market research and this enabled them to identify a core market gap that no one addressed. Thus, leading them to sign a 10 month contract to build the entire web application from scratch to simplify the workflow between when a practitioner recommends a medicine and the time and effort it takes for that information to reach the pharmacy specialists.
